The geomatic Internet server GeomaxWeb is Geomax's answer to the growing demand for management tools and the distribution of maps and spatial data on a network.

Open and varied system

    The architecture of GeomaxWeb is made to allow web clients access not only to the main server's data, but also from data coming from other identified servers. The GeomaxWeb server acts as a data gathering system that can distribute it smoothly and transparently.

The power of a GIS in a browser

    GeomaxWeb offers more than conventional static map browsers. It's advanced query system allows to rapidly locate an object from a simple data search command. The user can, if he wants, bring out all the information attached to the objects found. GeomaxWeb allows the user the selection of the information layer that interest him or combine multiple layers to obtain a composed view, according to his needs.

Customizable environment

    GeomaxWeb offers the possibility to modify and adapt the appearance of it's client interface. The layers offered to the users can vary according to the choices made by the administrators, as well as the objects on which it is possible to make queries. The layers and the objects available are selected according to the data found on the server database. The aesthetic aspect of the interface can also be modified to satisfy user needs.
