GeomaxWeb is available for portable wireless systems. GeomaxWeb for portable systems is fully compatible with the standard edition and both of them can be installed on the same server and complete each other to offer the best out of the GeomaxWeb system. Both versions have access to the same database and the same information available on the server.

    The GeomaxWeb system has been optimized to be compatible with the pocket version of Explorer. The downloaded information is kept at it's minimum to prevent long load time. The interface of this version has been optimized for the portable systems's limited screens by reducing scrolling to it's minimum.

    GeomaxWeb for portable systems includes info, graphic info and cartographic navigation functions. It also has products selection capabilities, including the possibility to view aerial photography pictures and images defined in the GEOMAX system. The info and graphic info functions can retrieve the same information that can be found with the regular version. GeomaxWeb for portable systems also have functions that allow the selection of the size of the map area, which can limit the downloading of cartographic images generated by the server to the needs of the user.
